‘Tis the season for woven everything. I’m talking woven shoes, woven bags, woven sandals and intricately woven details of my personal life in this article. My European summer dreams are just two weeks (!) away and that means I’m making a detailed PowerPoint presentation of every single item I plan on packing. Just when I thought I was finishing my “must pack” list, my co-worker sent me a link to the Eric Javits sale. TL;DR, the sale almost exclusively features woven summer essentials and now I have no choice but to shop and repack. But believe me, once you see this sale, you’ll know it’s worth it.
In case you’re not familiar with the brand, Eric Javits makes elegant and functional accessories that include everything from straw beach hats to sandals. The pieces are made with Eric Javits’ trademark “Squishee” technology which basically means you can pack the woven items in a suitcase without damaging the material or shape. Thanks to this technology, I will be adding an oversized straw hat to my packing list.
Even if you don’t have a trip planned to Spain (another personal detail, sorry), you can still indulge in the discounted Eric Javits summer staples. A woven tote bag is a summer essential whether you’re headed to the office, the farmer’s market, or the beach.

Isla Straw Bag

When I’m traveling, every piece I pack has been strategically selected. This woven tote fits my criteria for a beach bag, a tote for walking around the city and even an airplane bag. I love that it has a large outside pocket and comfortable leather shoulder straps. The pink and tan color combination is neutral enough to go with all of my outfits while still adding a little pop of color.

Notti Black Mix

Never underestimate a strong pair of slides. The perfect pair, like this black and tan option, will go with both casual and dressy outfits while always being comfortable. I think I could walk miles in this pair thanks to the soft footbed which makes them an excellent travel shoe contender. Plus, if I love them, I can buy them in a few more colors.

Amalfi Straw Bag

I love the combination of the woven red material and the silver chain on this bag. It feels beachy and edgy at the same time—a must for someone like me who spends time in the city and on the coast. Red is one of the hottest colors for 2023 and I’ve been eager to add a versatile red piece to my accessories closet. This bag can be worn crossbody or by the silver chain, so I think I’ve found my match.

Isla Mule

How chic is this pair of woven mules? This shoe feels like the perfect hybrid between a kitten heel and a ballet flat, two of my favorite shoe styles. The square toe is balanced by the femininity of the bow on the top of the shoe. These would look so cute with a pair of baggy jeans or a white linen skirt.
